    The product looks great to be fair. However this is such a marketing fail to have software that constricts options where the hardware clearly has full capability. For petes sake just unlock the software and give everyone the full features for the core price. They will sell like hotcakes! Until this happens the product isn't for me.

    Great stuff. Really enjoying my Hackmotion. I have had it for about 2 weeks now. I’m having somewhat of the opposite problem. I’m too flexed at the top (65% of the time usually by about 1-4 degrees), but my impact is usually spot on (mid 90% range). I’m noticing what I do in my back swing is I’m in the correct range almost all the way to the top, but when my body/weight starts to shift forward (before the backswing is completed), I start to flex that left wrist, causing it to be out of the “correct” range at the top, even though it’s dead on at impact…an example for me would be +16 at address, -6 at the top (-2 out of the suggested range), and -6 at impact…is this a problem?

  • @pewseyrad
    @pewseyrad 12 днів тому

    I’ve upgraded to the new version including going from the core to plus which includes the putting. However it only records address, top & impact. Do I need to upgrade again to get the other positions eg P6?

    I'm very new in golf, but making my best effort to improve. I've been watching hundreds of videos related to golf swing, and will only say many of them don't work for me. Until I found your number 4 drill, because 1 to 3 I've already do it. Paused video and grabbed a club. It felt so easy to do and replicate. I can't wait to test it on the field. The detail I will add on that move is the release in some point of that move. Thank you so much. I'm now suscribed.

    I generally love your videos on your own channel, both the old one and the new one. However, I have a problem with this video. We have *2* wrists, yet the right wrist is never once mentioned. This doesn’t make sense to me as 75-80% of us are right handed. It is much easier to monitor the right hand for most of us. If the reason for this left handed emphasis is that hack motion only monitors the left hand, then it is an inherently flawed training aid. Thank you for listening. I respect your teaching tremendously, but this one frustrated me.

    Thanks. I've tried to twist my left wrist using my last three fingers of my left hand. I've had some very good results but I'm still inconsistent especially with my wedges. Please recommend a method to twist my left wrist down toward the ground during the backswing but especially during the forward swing. By the way, your instructions on the stack and tilt method and staying centered, have really improved my scoring: to the high 70's consistently.

    Hi Rob, thanks for sharing driver tips. My understanding is that I need to cock my leading wrist at top of the swing, then I wouldn’t be able to maintain a flat wrist per your tip. Can you please comment ?

    • @robcheneygolf1
      @robcheneygolf1 7 днів тому

      The detail of HOW you "cock" your wrist matters. Too much wrist cock can equal excessive lead wrist extension which actually opens the club face and causes multiple issues.

    Just received my HackMotion a few days ago…I was very skeptical before buying it, but since there is as 30 day return policy, thought I’d give it a try…this thing is fabulous…I will say there is a learning curve, which may be steep for some. I also wouldn’t recommend it to someone who doesn’t have at least a fairly good understanding of swing mechanics and the ball flight laws, i.e., what makes the ball do what it does…Quick question…My first session was pretty much slamming me for being to flexed at the top (67% too flexed, 33% in the zone)…impact was within the right zone 95% of the time, so no worries there…I prefer to be a bit flexed at the top as it feels most comfortable to me…since the recommended flex/extension numbers are zones based off of your position at address, instead of trying to lose some of my flexion at the top, could I also adjust my grip to be more neutral? When I try that, I wind up with the same amount of flexion at the top and good flexion at impact…For example, I was using a strong grip the first session (+28-30). At the top, I was consistently too flexed by an average of -4, so not too bad…using a weaker grip today, I was in the right zone at the top 67% of the time and too flexed 33%…at impact I was in the zone 98% of the time. Those out of the zone at the top were from -1 to -3, averaging -1. Ball flight was spot on with a tight draw…The reason I ask about changing my grip to be a bit weaker is the only recommendation in the app is to add my wrist hinge (lag) during my backswing…two problems with that…wrist hinge/lag isn’t being measured (at least not with the basic package I have) so I don’t know if I’m doing or not…there was no other advice…seems changing my grip at address is an easy fix as long as my ball flight isn’t affected, no?

    feet flaired is critical for me and right foot set back a bit to get more inside on the downside. my left knee is very sensitive to rotation and i need to pivot the heel to straighten the foot rather dramatically. it's a real point of frustration that my left knee doth grumble so much. if you have any thoughts or input on that (beyond ongoing strength training for the joint) i'd love to hear it.

    Thanks Rob. I’ve watched all your wrist videos and it’s really helped me. I’m beginning to believe that so much of the golf swing that varies day to day is in the wrists. It seems it the hardest to gauge by feel, more so than other parts of the swing that can go off without our realizing.

    I bought the HackMotion because of the reviews on UA-cam by a group of channels that I routinely watch. Everyone was very positive about the product. After using the HackMotion for a handful of sessions I was completely disappointed, frustrated with the results nothing made sense to me. I gave up on the gadget. I decided to use it again just to confirm my opinion before I sold it, I'm exceptionally glad that I did. Not only did it "click" but after some more backyard drills the results on the range and more importantly on the course were nothing short of spectacular. Good contact is highly underrated! I could go on but I'll just say thank you for making this product available to us! Tom

    Thanks Rob, I find the video extremely useful. I'm trying to adopt the second option (less rotation, club head aiming to the sky in P8) as it gives me a much better feeling of a well compressed ball. But I find it quite dificult unless I flare out my left foot totally (in line with target line). It seems connected with a right shoulder full down during the follow through and a restricted finish (S&T style). Don't know what could I do to promote this follow and finish more often..

    I totally disagree with this and find it contradictory to the data I have seen in the Pro version (too expensive for me to own myself). Literally the ONLY way that I can get into proper flexion at impact is by consciously rotating through at impact, like Tiger does. Otherwise I am +15-25 extension at impact.

    Not sure if this is going to make sense but As a right handed golfer, why didn't they place this gizmo on the right hand? I'm not sure if you or maybe its just me, but I notice it is easier to think of extending the right hand than it is to flex or even flatten the left/lead wrist on the top. On the downswing and at impact, it is easier for your mind to think about extending the right wrist than it is to flex (maybe even think) about compressing the left or lead wrist. Anything I do with the right hand comes naturally since I am right handed. It is like writing I guess; It would be natural to grab the pen and write using the right hand if you are right handed than it is to use the left. By the way, I have the Hackmotion and love it. I have never been more perplexed in my life since getting this.
